Wonderful Accommodations in the White Mountains of New Hampshire! The entire experience was wonderful! From the hospitality that the Inn keepers and staff show, the wonderful breakfast served each morning, beautiful setting right along the river, to the immaculate and comfortable accommodations! Will definitely be back to the beautiful Inn at Ellis River again soon.

Great Starting Point for our White Mountain Adventures We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Ellis River. We were there for two nights during a quieter time of the year. The peaceful setting was just right, within steps of a lively dining spot recommended by Beth, one of the innkeepers. It was also a great starting point for a walk along the Jackson "downtown" loop, where we were able to visit a number of quirky shops and cross back over the river to our inn via a covered bridge. Beth was a friendly and funny host, exchanging banter with us while offering recommendations and serving us breakfast. A welcoming host makes a big difference in a lodging experience, and Beth is a gem! Our complementary breakfasts were delicious and filling, and it was nice to be given protein and carb options. Our second floor bedroom was comfortable and cozy--with a deck and a daybed that was ideal for watching TV after a day of sightseeing. We would stay at this inn again if we were heading that way on future travels.

Wonderful experience! They made our occasion very special! The staff is extremely attentive. The rooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! We will definitely go back!

Relaxing, Comfortable, and Unforgettable We recently stayed at the Inn at Ellis River in Jackson, NH, for two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the Pearl Cascade suite, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The jetted tub was the perfect touch for relaxation, and the balcony with a screen door allowed us to enjoy the sound of the rushing river even though we had a full day of rain. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless—exactly as it should be. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and Mary, John, and Christine were so friendly! They really helped to make our stay extra special. We appreciated the bottled water and chocolates in our room, a nice touch that is rarely seen anymore. We had one tiny issue with our room (a completely unavoidable fluke that could have happened anywhere), but they immediately addressed it and made sure we were taken care of. It’s no wonder the Inn has been voted the Best Bed and Breakfast in the North Conway area. It was such an amazing opportunity for us to unplug and reconnect. We can’t recommend it enough and are already looking forward to our stay this fall. A perfect getaway!

Memorial Day 2025 We just returned home from a stay at Ellis River Inn and already I miss it. It’s almost as if you are going to a second home and you are sad when you have to leave. Stayed in the Pearl Cascade room and all I can say is WOW! This room is almost always unavailable and for good reason… the spacious room, the view, the jacuzzi are some of the perks that will keep us coming back. But the biggest reason this Inn is so inviting is the service you will receive there makes you feel like family. The warm greeting from Christine and the bubbly personalities of both her’s and owner Mary will make you feel welcome upon arrival. Add that to Chef John’s outstanding crustless quiche, uh I mean daily delicious breakfast and there is no way you can go wrong. Also stayed one night in March and John and Mary were very accommodating as a winter storm showed signs of canceling our trip. Thanks Mary, John, and Christine for another relaxing visit. Can’t wait to return. Forgot to mention the cleanliness and attention to detail.

Wonderful place to relax near Mt Washington The Inn keepers combined 2 rooms to make a sitting room and a bedroom, which made a wonderful experience staying here. We've been coming here for years now, this place is great! John, Mary and Christine are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is amazing! Best part is sitting in the sitting room and watching the river. Inn at Ellis River is a must stay if you are in the area.

Best weekend getaway!!! The owners and staff were welcoming from the start, always available, rooms were clean and cozy, breakfast was delicious and the pub was a perfect place to wind down and play some games. It truly was the perfect weekend getaway. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Home from home Our 3rd visit to the inn and happily everything is exactly as we remembered it, it’s like home walking through the door. We love it here so much, especially the breakfast and the hospitality. Thank you John, Mary, Christine and of course Emma and Tux for another wonderful few days, it’s always over too quickly but we will happily fly the 3,500 miles to come back again soon!

Best Choice to stay in the area This is Andy and Linda from Chelmsford, MA. The whole place is just perfect. We wanted to unwind. The Inn has the best breakfast. The Inn staff are more than hospitable, they go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. This is our 3rd time, we will always stay here at the Ellis Inn when in the Jackson, North Conway area.

Delightful and Delicious! Inn at Ellis River is a delightful stay in gorgeous room with a cozy fireplace, jacuzzi tub, newly painted. Breakfasts are the highlight of the visit, next to the warmth of John and Mary, cook and owners respectively. Christine the Innkeeper and the woofs add to the delightful ambiance of the Inn.
