New Hampshire Weddings
The Inn at Ellis River is the ideal romantic
setting for your engagement, intimate wedding, or honeymoon. The
picturesque village of Jackson is known for its historic red covered
bridge, named the "Honeymoon Bridge." This is a place where
honeymooners would stop and steal a "Good Luck Kiss," a tradition
that dates back to the 1800's.
Here at the Inn at Ellis River, we can arrange the perfect romantic
event for you. There are several special romantic and honeymoon
packages from which to choose, or we will help you design one
especially for you. Just give us a call and we will be happy to help
you with your plans.
If you are considering a wedding at the inn, it is best suited for
those who want a small, intimate event in a relaxed, casually
elegant setting. Choose to have your ceremony in front of the
blazing fireplace or the baby grand piano, or, in summer, in the
gazebo. Your ceremony may be as private as just the two of you, or
for up to 50 guests. We are happy to work with you to plan every
aspect of this most special day.
Requirements to get married in New Hampshire:
* Identification (i.e., Driver's License, Passport, or Birth
Certificate)
* $45.00 fee and no waiting period for license
* If a second marriage, proof of dissolution or certified divorce
decree with date of divorce
* No blood tests are required. |

This wedding or renewal of vows package is $750
plus 8% NH State Tax where applicable (available Inn and Quiet
Seasons). Choice and cost of officiant is the responsibility of the
guest (the inn can provide contact information). We are happy to
combine your special Wedding for Two with our Honeymoon Package to
create even more wonderful memories as you begin married life
together. Please note that most Saturdays require a two night stay ~
another reason to make us your honeymoon choice!
If you wish a slightly larger gathering, our Intimate Wedding or
Renewal of Vows for up to 12 includes the amenities provided in the
Romantic Escape Wedding with the exception of dinner, and adds a
champagne or sparkling cider toast, coffee and tea or punch, and a
choice of three afternoon tea or hors d'oeuvres items for you and
your guests to enjoy ($995 plus 8% NH State Tax where applicable
during Inn or Quiet Seasons).
For celebrations for up to 50 guests, the Inn has 21 comfortable
king- and queen-sized guest rooms decorated in period furnishings
for you and your guests. Fifteen of our rooms have fireplaces or
woodstoves, and many have two-person whirlpool tubs and scenic
balconies and patios. We have information on churches, Justices of
the Peace, florists, photographers, restaurants, entertainment, and
horse-drawn carriages/sleigh rides to help plan your own very
special wedding celebration. Please contact us to discuss how to
