Flume Gorge
Named after a popular site in the White Mountains, this cozy, east facing green and rose color themed bedroom features a bronze iron queen bed, a comfortable easy ‘chair and a half’ with ottoman, and an electric wood stove. In the room’s private bath, there is a jetted tub for two in which to relax after a day spent in the White Mountains. Sliding glass doors open onto a private balcony equipped with chairs and a small table during our milder seasons so you can enjoy views of the lawn and gardens as well as across the valley.
Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park, a little over an hour’s drive from the inn, is well-known for its scenery including Avalanche Falls, Liberty Gorge Cascades, The Pool, glacial boulders, and a covered bridge. All can be viewed from the easy two mile loop hike through the State Park.
